Lowe & Oliver undertook the complete Electrical, Mechanical and Public Health installations for a new RNLI Lifeboat Station at Selsey, West Sussex.
The electrical systems installed included LV distribution, general lighting, general LV power, emergency lighting, fire alarm system, disabled toilet call system and lighting protection.
The mechanical and public health systems installed included above ground drainage, hot and cold water including a non-potable boosted cold water service, and low temperature hot water heating. The primary heat source to occupied areas within the lifeboat station is via a skid mounted ground source heat pump system which serves underfloor heating circuits. Mechanical ventilation is via 2 No roof mounted fans and local wall mounted units.
