Our remit was to install Dalmatic controlled lighting to all three floors of the building.

The work had to be carried out during the night so that no disruption was caused to the day to day operation of Maritime Coastguard Agency headquarters.

Overall in excess of 900 light fittings were taken down and replaced. Control wiring was also installed to each light fitting which in turn was linked to zoned PIR’s which were programmed to sense movement and lux level.

We were also tasked with replacing 150 light marshalling boxes and the removal and replacement of over 20,000 ceiling tiles.

All generated waste was recycled where possible as required with in our contract.
